How can we accept new technologies for customers, building users, and FM professionals? Is it a solution to the challenges of the labour market by spreading robotics and smart devices?

We will introduce the web and BIM-based, 3D application which currently under development and will show the most important features: it is suitable to manage the most important information of the rooms and buildings, stores many of the energetic information and energy consume data in a database in a user-friendly way. Believe it, PropTech will become increasingly important in the lives of realtors, just as evidently in other industries, where it is already the symbol of competitiveness, development, cost-effectiveness, quality service and, of course, profitability. "Smart upgrades" has already begun with smart homes and smart cities, but what do we know about PropTech today? Where does the real estate market stand in technological developments?

Laser scanning to support construction projects and real estate management
Laser scanning is an even more widely used spatial data acquisition technology to obtain building geometry. Surveying entire buildings and complex surfaces especially those that cannot be captured by discrete points can be effectively supported by laser scanning, in many cases together with photogrammetry. The presentation provides and overview of supporting extensive areas (even cities) by airborne and mobile laser scanning, and of the potential of building survey by terrestrial laser scanning in comparison with conventional technologies.
Speaker: Dr. Tamás Lovas, tanszékvezető, BME Építőmérnöki Kar
12:05 - 12:15
BIM directives - Lechner handbook to understand BIM
In order to maintain the development of the building industry it is unavoidable to apply more effectively the methodology and technology of the building information modeling. Since the readiness of the participants is divergent there is a need to create directives and guides besides the European and domestic standards which can provide integrated help for the users during the utilization of BIM. Our goal is to create a complex description about the new concepts, roles, the possible BIM uses and their realization as well.
