Manuel Dueñas

As Head of Public Sector for Central and South Eastern Europe, Manuel Dueñas currently manages EIB’s public sector lending activity in this region, including public administrations, entities, corporates and promotional financial institutions. Previously in EIB, Manuel was Deputy Head of the Climate Change and Environment Division in charge of the development of new financial products and equity investments in the area of energy efficiency. Prior to joining EIB, he worked for other financial institutions in Spain and Luxembourg. His professional carrier has been mainly associated to structured infrastructure finance activities in several sectors across Europe and, in particular, Eastern Europe. He holds a B.S. in Economics from University Complutense of Madrid (Spain) and a M.B.A. from University of Nebraska (USA).
