Gianluca Manca

Gianluca is Head of Sustainability and Global non-profit business at Eurizon Capital - Intesa Sanpaolo Group, Italy and co-Chair of the Asset Management Working Group of the UNEP FI (United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiatives). Eurizon Capital is one of the major asset managers in Europe with over € 150bn AUM. In 1997 it has been the first Italian asset manager to offer a range of SRI Mutual Funds to retail investors through its mother company Intesa Sanpaolo Bank. Gianluca has been a member of the Asset Management Working Group of the UNEP FI since inception in 2003 and became chairman of the group in April 2009. He has been a fixed income derivatives broker and an international equities fund manager for 6 years; he then focused on socially responsible investments in 1999 and became head of the SRI investment team in 2002. Gianluca is the CSR delegate at Eurizon Capital, a member of the Sustainability Committee and the chair of the Charity Committee.
