Christian Redl PhD

Christian Redl is part of the European Energy Cooperation team of the German think-tank Agora Energiewende where he focuses on power market design and options for cross-border cooperation in the field of energy policy. From 2012 to 2013, he worked for an international energy consulting firm in the Netherlands focusing on power system planning and renewables integration. Before that, he worked as a research associate at Vienna University of Technology from 2005 to 2011 where he was dealing with energy scenarios and decarbonisation roadmaps. Christian studied at Vienna University of Technology and holds a PhD in energy economics.
