Blaž Urbanija

After graduating from Faculty of Economics in Ljubljana I worked in different industries such as FMCG, office stationery, consumer electronics and services. Wide spread of business experiences gave me valuable knowledge in sales, both B2B and B2C, marketing and management fields. After entering my professional adulthood, I stabilized in automotive industry almost 15 years ago. I held different managerial positions in retail and wholesale organizations where I further developed my skills. End of 2020 I joined Autowallis group as a managing director of Wallis Motor Ljubljana first foreign retail operation. At the beginning it was a single brand BMW dealership with constant growth. We opened Land Rover showroom in 2022 and MINI showroom in 2023. The company grew from 43 to 75 people in this short time. In 2022 also Avto Aktiv, another Slovenian dealership representing BMW, Toyota, Suzuki and Opel brands, was taken over by Autowallis. With a management team we are implementing new projects, same business process and IT environment with a common goal to optimize business operations in both companies. Sales and strategies were always my passion. I enjoy difficult challenges where my creativity and ideas help me bring the projects to the finish line successfully. I like spending my free time in the nature doing different outdoor sports with my family or friends. By doing that I can recharge my batteries and bring a balance to my life.
