Péter Szabó

Péter László Szabó has been working at Schaeffler Debrecen Kft. for 23 years. In 2001, at the beginning of his career, he was the first trainee in the production department. With a degree as a mechanical engineer and engineering teacher, he held increasingly higher positions in the life of the factory. The highlight of his rise through the ranks is that from 2007 he has held the position of Managing Director of the Debrecen company, where he was appointed Global Manager of the Cone Roller Bearing for 2 years. Peter became the CEO of the city's first multinational company at the age of 29, making Schaeffler and the city of Debrecen a very important part of his life. His job is also his hobby. Currently, 4 generations are working at Schaeffler Debrecen Kft. at the same time, so he can experience the difference between generations in his everyday life, which he sees as a positive challenge. Vocational training, youth education and sport in Debrecen have always been close to his heart. For years he has been known as the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of DVSC Kézilabda Kft. Over the years, he has received numerous awards, including the Patron of the City of Debrecen, the Man of the Year of the City of Debrecen, the Hungarian Golden Cross of Merit.
