Simon Schimncke

Simon is a developer at heart and a venture capitalist in mind. German born, Simon gained operational experience building three companies for Rocket Internet between Asia, Latin America and the US before starting his investment career at Earlybird Venture Capital. He joined Creandum in 2016. Fintech is one of his major focus areas and throughout his VC career, he led the investments in N26, Taxfix, Billie, and Tide. Simon holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Münster and a Master from the University of St. Gallen – with time spent at Virginia Tech and the University of Toronto.
