He has been involved in public procurement for over 20 years, he was Secretary-General of the Public Procurement Authority as of 2017 and is President of the Authority since April 2020. Over the course of his career he dealt with conducting public procurement procedures, quality control of EU funded public procurement procedures from the aspect of public procurement law and - at the Prime Minister’s Office, as Head of Department for Public Procurement Regulation responsible for public procurement legislation - with drafting the public procurement act entered into force in 2015 and its related enforcement decrees. He is also a university lecturer and editor-in-chief of the Public Procurement Bulletin Plus. In 2023 he was awarded a PhD at the University of Public Service in Budapest.
