Despite Greek origins, Georgios grew up in Budapest, Hungary. During his student years apart from studying at the Corvinus University of Budapest, he did economic research activity both at Sorbonne Paris and Universitat de Barcelona. Furthermore, he was a co-founder and president of Incube which is an inter-university student association focusing on startups and entrepreneurship. His professional career started at KPMG followed by Morgan Stanley where he was performing credit research and risk management focusing on US Hedge Funds and European Private Equity funds. A few years later he joined the largest asset manager in the world, Blackrock where he continued to cover alternative strategies. After a nice opportunity presented itself he left the big corporate environment and joined a UK-based fintech, SaltPay. Now he is actively working on the development and growth of the Hungarian and Croatian offices as well as managing the financial department in both countries.
