Vilmos Both

Graduated in 1992 at the Budapest University of Economic Sciences, Vilmos worked as journalist, editor and editor-in-chief at ’NAPI Gazdaság” business daily. He worked for two years at BBC World Service in London. In 2000 he became CEO of internet content and application provider econet.hu Plc. in Budapest. Since 2003 he works as a strategic and development policy consultant, mostly in the telecommunications and ICT sector. His main fields of expertise include regulatory issues and policy-making on the field of broadband and mobile infrastructure development, digitalization, ICT, development policies, SMEs and R&D. Between 2015 and 2019 he was a permanent consultant to the Digital Success Programme of Hungary (DJP). As a free-lance consultant he worked with and/or for with several major consultancies, ministries and professional organizations.   He was member of the board of multiple professional organizations, including the Association of Hungarian Content Providers (MTE) and the professional organization of the Hungarian IT industry (IVSZ) where currently he is a consultant of the chairman of the board. Vilmos is a regular speaker at various local and international IT, media and internet conferences, workshops and seminars.
