Portfolio Private Health Forum 2017

This is the first time Portfolio is organising the Private Health Forum. Why? Because it’s time. The future is already here, whether we talk about modern diagnostics, tailor-made medication or new types of treatments. It has become obvious by now that Hungarians currently in their 40s will not be cured by the domestic health care sector. Not only because the state is fulfilling its duty ever less efficiently and in an ever poorer quality, but also because innovation has reached a level that is unattainable for public health services, and which may do not even aspire to catch up with it.

Secondly, Hungary’s private health care sector has been continuously developing. On the consumption side, an ever greater part of the Hungarian society spends ever larger sums on their health, and this has undeniably become a business by now. A business that is growing on a global level and one that is extremely innovative. We will discuss money, market, profit, financing and innovation with the key players of the private health care sector at a conference that is unique in many ways.
