Hungary Mol raises motor fuel prices again

Hungarian fuels group Mol has raised the wholesale list price of 95-octane gasoline by HUF 3 per litre and the price of diesel by 4 forint per litre as of Wednesday.
  • The hike has taken the average price of diesel to HUF 373, whereas the price of 95-octane petrol has increased to HUF 366.
  • The last time Mol changed motor fuel prices was on Friday, when it raised the price of diesel by HUF 3 to HUF 369 per litre and the price gasoline by HUF 5 to HUF 363 per litre.
  • Motorists may find differences of up to HUF 50 per litre at the pumps, depending on the location and pricing strategy of the given petrol station.
  • The average price of gasoline reached its peak in early April 2012 at HUF 451 and the price of diesel was the highest at HUF 449 on average in mid-January 2012.
