Hungary Mol cuts motor fuel prices

Hungarian fuels group Mol has lowered the wholesale price of diesel by 5 forints per litre and the price of gasoline by HUF 4 per litre as of Wednesday.
  • The reduction will take the average price of gasoline to HUF 346 per litre and that diesel to HUF 345.
  • The last time Mol has lowered the price of diesel was last Friday, by HUF 5 and HUF 3, respectively.
  • The difference between the pump prices could be as much as HUF 50 per litre, though.
  • The price of gasoline peaked in early April 2012 at HFU 451 on average, and a litre of diesel was the most expensive in mid-January that year at HFU 449 per litre on average.
