Job title: Development and Climate Policy State Secretary
Zsolt Szabó, State Secretary at the Ministry of National Development, has been working as the governmental person responsible for development and climate policy as well as for the main public services since June 2014; his primary task is to further strengthen Hungary’s competitive economy by arranging for solutions and measures which are beneficial both for climate/development policy goals and for social objectives. He is particularly focused on the operation of the Warm Homes Programme as he considers it very important to support energy efficiency investments for the Hungarian families. Being in charge of the Environment and Energy Operational Programme, his main objective is to implement the development policy efficiently and to use the available EU funds in the best possible manner.
