Dr. Nagy was the supervisor of energy procurement in Central and Eastern Europe at Linde Group since 2006-2021 (retired). Prior to this assignment, he was the executive director of Lukoil Hungary Co. and worked for the Hungarian National Oil companies (MOL Group) in the field of R&D and trading and has over forty years of experience in energy sector. Mr. Nagy holds M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Oil and Gas Industry (Moscow, 1976) and post-graduate degrees in Economics Science (1997) and in Commercial Law (2003). He has an Academic degree of Technical Science in Hungary (1981). He was engaged in thermodynamics study of hydrocarbons on university of UCBerkeley 1989-90 (US). He has been the president of IEF since 2011.
