Yoel Sano

Yoel manages Fitch Solutions’ political risk analysis and coordinates the publication of Fitch Solutions’ quarterly Global Political Outlook and thematic special reports. His areas of focus include domestic political and social transformation, regional security risks, great power rivalry, and long-term forecasting. He is also responsible for crafting risk scenarios for 'low probability-high impact' events. Yoel has a Bachelor’s degree in geography from Oxford University, and a Master’s degree in Theory and History of International Relations from the London School of Economics (LSE). He has worked at Fitch Solutions since 2003 and was Head of Asia Research from 2006-2009.
