Eszter Windhager-Pokol

I am a lead data scientist responsible for building key predictive models and products, and for engaging with senior stakeholders across the business to advise and provide data driven solutions. Earlier I spent almost 3 years developing a machine learning driven IT security tool. I also have 7 years experience in supporting data driven decision making as a consultant and 4 years research experience in the field of collaborative filtering. So far I have lead several data mining projects from the presales stage till the deployment, including the understanding of the business problem, getting and cleaning the data, exploratory data analysis, building and evaluating the predictive models and the presentation and discussion of the results with the decision makers. Besides consultancy I also have experience in teaching data mining to business users from the basic level to the advanced analytics courses. I am an enthusiastic data scientist, I spend my free time broadening my horizons: I study Coursera courses, take part and present at conferences, Meetups, and occasionally participate Kaggle competitions.
