Balázs Vonnák

Balázs Vonnák obtained his degree at the Faculty of Economics of the Budapest University of Economics in 2000. In the same year, he began working at the Monetary Policy Department of the Magyar Nemzeti Bank. From 2001, he served at the Economics Department, where he was primarily involved in monetary policy decision-making and applied research. In 2012, he was appointed Head of Applied Research at the Bank’s Financial Stability Area. Currently, he is Director of Financial System Analysis.
