He obtained his higher education degree from the University of Economics, and then from the Philadelphia Wharton School. He started his career in senior foreign economy, international financial and capital market, and consulting positions. In 1997-2001 he was executive director of Hypo Vereinsbank Hungária. In 2001-2002 he was Deputy CEO of Magyar Fejlesztési Bank, and then in 2003-2004 executive director of Dresner Bank Hungaria. From 2004 until 2010 he was head of the Hungarian representative of Landesbank Baden-Württenberg (LBBW), where he prepared the financial institution’s growth in Hungary. From 2010, he became Deputy CEO of MFB Zrt. again; in January 2014 he was appointed CEO of Garantiqa Hitelgarancia Zrt. As of now, he is a member of the Board of Directors at Európai Beruházási Bank. He speaks English, German, Swedish and Russian; he is the father of two children. Since 2014, he is CEO of Eximbank.
