Mike Turner

Mike Turner Head of Global Strategy and Asset Allocation at Aberdeen. Mike Turner is responsible for the asset allocation process of the discretionary mixed asset portfolios in close cooperation with the leaders of the global strategy and investment group. In 1998 he became the Head of Fixed Interest at Edinburgh Fund Managers, and continued at the company as the leader of the security and strategy team, the director of the asset management division, and the member of the asset allocation committee, when in 2003 it was acquired by Aberdeen Asset Management. Prior to this, Mike Turner had been the leader of the security investment team at WorldInvest, and the asset manager of the global security team at Gulf International Bank. He obtained a BA in Economics from Heriot-Watt University.
