Péter Tóth

Mr Péter Tóth has been the CEO of HUPX Hungarian Power Exchange since 15th July 2016, he is also the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Central Eastern European Gas Exchange – the subsidiary of HUPX -, and the chairman of the Board of Directors of HUDEX Energy Exchange Ltd. as well. Mr. Péter Tóth graduated in Economics at the University of Pécs then he began his career at the consulting department of IBM. After this period, between 2011 and 2013 he worked at MAVIR Ltd. – the parent company of HUPX – as CFO, later as Deputy CEO for Market Operations and Finance. Later on he continued his career as the CEO of PannErgy Plc. - a premium category listed company by the Budapest Stock Exchange - , and led one of the largest renewable energy investment in Hungary.
