Tamás Bartal is the Deputy State Secretary for Coordination of Cabinet Affairs at the Prime Minister's Office. Between 2010 and 2014, he was director of the MFB Hungarian Development Bank, before that he worked on the leasing market. He began his career as an attorney, and he also dealt with energy and utilities regulation issues. In 1996 he graduated as lawyer at the Eötvös Lóránd University Faculty of Law and Political Sciences. In 2002 and 2012 he gained further qualifications: lawyer specialized in real estate markets and commercial law (Pázmány Péter Catholic University), lawyer specialized in capital markets and banking law (Eötvös Lóránd University). He speaks fluent English and has an intermediate-level language exam.
