Stefan Dörfler

Stefan Dörfler has been with Erste Group since 1995 and started his career in the securities (trading & sales) area. After holding various management positions he was responsible for the divisionalised capital markets business (“Group Markets”) from 2009 until 2016. As Chairman of the Management Board of Erste Bank Oesterreich from 2016 to 2019 he was inter alia responsible for the SME & Real Estate business, as well as IT & Operations. In 2019, Stefan Dörfler moved to the Management Board of Erste Group as Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO). On 1 January 2022, he additionally assumed the position of CFO at Erste Bank Oesterreich.
