Pál Ságvári

Pál Ságvári has been Vice President of the Hungarian Energy and Public Utility Regulatory Authority (MEKH) and Vice Chair of the Energy Regulators Regional Association (ERRA) since November 2020.Between 2015 and 2020 he was the travelling ambassador for energy security at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and from 2018 he was the Ministerial Commissioner for International Energy Relations. Between 2011 and 2014 he was Head of the Department of Energy Strategy and International Relations at the Ministry of National Development. Prior to that, he held expert positions at Engie (former GDF SUEZ), first in the field of finance and then in the field of natural gas and electricity trading.
