Dr. Róbert Keszte

Job title: Head of Global Operations - Architecture and Networking business area of Continental’s Automotive group sector
Dr. Róbert Keszte graduated from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics as a vehicle engineer, and also gained a master’s degree at the faculty of Vehicles and Mobile Machineries there. In parallel with his master’s studies, he also received a degree in economics at the Corvinus University of Budapest (the former Budapest University of Economics). The expert has started his career at Continental in 2000 as an engineer at the Budapest plant, and gained extensive experience managing several departments of the site. He started his international career in 2006 at the group's factory in Sibiu and continued in 2007 at its headquarters in Nuremberg. After the foreign assignments, he again became head of the factory unit in the Budapest plant, then from 2010 he managed the Continental electronics factory in Timisoara for 3 years. He returned to Hungary in 2014 as the managing director of the Budapest plant of Continental Automotive Hungary Kft. Mr. Keszte took an active role in expanding Continental's activities in Hungary: the newly built plant in Debrecen and the establishment of the Artificial Intelligence Competence Center, which opened in Budapest in 2018. Dr. Róbert Keszte, Managing Director of Continental Automotive Hungary Kft. at Budapest, to perform the duties of Head of Focus Country Hungary from 1 January 2021. Under his leadership, over the past six years, the Budapest plant has turned into a world-renowned manufacturer was recognized as the “Factory of the Year” for two consecutive years, in 2018 and 2019, “Supplier of the Year 2020”, while also actively participating in the Industry 4.0 sample plant program as a partner of the Hungarian government.
