"Norbert is an entrepreneur who stays out of the media spotlight and never boasts about his achievements. However, if you follow his ventures, you'll see that he consistently reaches new milestones year after year. He leads one of the few Hungarian companies that, after becoming a market leader at home, quickly achieved success abroad," praises a member of the Internet Hungary Példakép award jury who nominated him. Norbert Pörzse graduated in 2007 from the International Business School with a degree in Finance and Marketing as a scholarship student, and since then he has been a key player in the domestic online commerce scene. As the founder and owner of Vágyaim.hu, Hungary's largest erotic online store, he has been closely monitoring local trends for nearly two decades from both a customer and entrepreneur perspective. He considers it his personal and corporate mission to promote erotic products by breaking local stereotypes. His goal is for these products to make sexual life more colorful and exciting, thereby contributing to the development of sexual education in Hungary and enhancing communication between couples. The company’s efforts are validated by having successfully completed over 1.2 million orders. In response to evolving market conditions, starting in 2024 his company expanded its operations, and today it has launched local online stores in 23 European countries. Based on his experiences, Norbert founded Tharanis ERP in 2011—Hungary’s first ERP and invoicing system designed specifically for online stores. As the head of Tharanis ERP, he continuously monitors new challenges in online store management and implements efficiency-enhancing developments in both ERP systems and webshops. Between 2019 and 2024, the company operating Vágyaim.hu achieved a 250% increase in turnover while requiring only a 33% increase in staff.
