Petr Knap is a Senior Advisor at EY Consulting, where he oversees automotive industry activities across CEE. He has almost 30 years of professional experience, and has worked with a wide range of clients. These have included prominent automotive & industrial companies, including AutoBinck, Aures Holding, BMW, ColtCZ, Hyundai, Kia, Porsche CEE, Preciosa, Schaeffler, ŠKODA AUTO (VW), Temsa, Toyota, OrlenUnipetrol and Witte Automotive. Petr has long-term experience in strategy preparation, organizational change management and process improvement. He is also passionate about the future of the automotive industry, and is actively involved in discussions focused on digitalization, automation, electric mobility, shared mobility, and autonomous vehicles. He regularly comments on the latest industry developments and lectures, primarily across the CEE region. He was also part of several policy debates rearding the Euro 7 regulation, including moderating a debate in the European Parliament. Petr is a founding member of the Czech Chamber PMI (Project Management Institute), a member of the Scientific Council at the Faculty of Business Administration (University of Economics in Prague) and member of the Commercialisation Board (Czech Technical University in Prague). He received his Master degree at the University of Economics in Prague and his MBA at the Warwick Business School. He also invests in in a range of start-ups, is a co-founder at the GenAI start-up knowdroids.ai and has got a range of other interests. He is married with two daugthers.
