Dr Nicholas Spiro is Managing Director of Spiro Sovereign Strategy, a niche London-based consultancy specialising in European sovereign credit. Dr Spiro advises institutional and private investors on the idiosyncrasies of sovereign debt markets and comments regularly on European affairs in the Financial Times, the Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg and CNBC. Prior to establishing Spiro Sovereign Strategy in 2010, Dr Spiro was head of Economics & Strategy for Central and East Europe (CEE) at DTZ, the global real estate adviser, based in Warsaw, Moscow and Budapest.
