Nicholas Kabcenell co-founded Structured Capital Partners (SCP) in early 2021. SCP was formed to manage two CEE and Turkey focused private debt and equity funds previously managed by Franklin Templeton/Darby. Prior to SCP, Mr. Kabcenell worked for Darby since 2005, and before Darby worked for Allianz-Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein where he was originally hired to restructure one of their regional PE funds. Mr. Kabcenell is originally from New York City, and has lived and worked previously in New York, Washington, D.C., London, UK and Budapest. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor and Columbia University School of Law. In addition to SCP, Mr Kabcenell serves on the Board of Trustees of the American School of Budapest, the Budapest Fesztival Zenekar and the Fulbright Commission in Hungary. He resides in Budapest with his wife and three children.
