Peter Tánczos is the managing partner of Euroventures. Euroventures is one of the longest established independent private equity firms in CEE. The team launched the first Euroventures fund in 1989, run four successful private equity funds since, investing into more than 50 regional companies, exiting via strategic sales and IPO’s both in European (Vienna, Warsaw, AIM) and US (NASDAQ, NYSE) stock markets. Euroventures recently raised its fifth consecutive private equity fund. Euroventures V Technology and Growth Fund will continue to seek excellent management teams with fast growing, technology oriented companies managing significant operations in CEE. Peter Tánczos joined Euroventures in 1992, has been active in the Hungarian venture capital industry ever since. He has been instrumental in the investment and divestment of all the Euroventures funds under management to date, served on the boards of many portfolio companies as well as on the board of HVCA on several occasions over the past three decades. Peter Tanczos graduated at the Budapest University of Economic Sciences, earned a second degree in Economic Law at ELTE, Hungary and an MBA from INSEAD, France.
