Michael Laycock

Michael Laycock is a Senior Investment Manager with the British Business Bank (“BBB”), the UK’s development bank. BBB helps support innovation across the UK through its two existing Equity programmes - the state aid approved Enterprise Capital Funds and the fully commercial initiative British Patient Capital. Through these Venture and Growth Capital programmes, BBB is one of Europe’s most active LP investors and has an existing portfolio of c60 funds. Since joining BBB in 2015, Michael has been active investing across both programmes, supporting both new and established fund managers with various sector and stage investment focuses.
