Michael joined KPMG in Hungary from his native Vancouver, Canada in 1990 and has been a CEE Partner since 1996. In 2000 he took over responsibility for KPMG Hungary’s Financial Advisory Services department comprising Corporate Finance, Restructuring, Transaction Services, Property Services and Forensic and has built up a team of almost 40 professionals in Hungary, fully linked into KPMG’s global network. While in Hungary, Michael has participated in and led numerous assignments including advising on both sale and acquisition (M&A) mandates, due diligence engagements, financial structuring, business and property valuations, business plan reviews, financing and investigations. His clients have included major property investment funds, developers, multinationals, private equity groups and large local companies. Michael is a Canadian Chartered Accountant and has an MBA from Purdue University through the International Masters in Management (IMM) program.
