Melas Dimitris CFA

Dimitris Melas, CFA, is Executive Director and Head of EMEA Equity and Applied Research at MSCI Barra. Prior to joining MSCI Barra in 2006, Mr Melas spent eight years with HSBC Asset Management where he was Head of Research and Head of Quantitative Strategies. Before joining HSBC, Mr Melas worked as a portfolio manager and as a quantitative analyst. He has an MSc in Electrical Engineering and an MBA in Finance, and he has published research in the areas of asset allocation and portfolio optimisation.
