He started his career at Healey & Baker (now Cushman & Wakefield) shortly after the Velvet Revolution in the 1990s. Subsequently, he worked in Warsaw, where he formed an international asset management team for a large portfolio of retail centres owned by ING Real Estate Investment Management. From 2007-2015, he founded the open-end mutual fund REICO Česká spořitelna and served first as a member of the Board of Directors and CIO, and later as Chairman and CEO. Martin gained valuable experience in managing a large portfolio of real estate assets, establishing, and managing real estate funds, business development, risk management and fundraising. Subsequently, he worked with the 4ct platform as an independent consultant specialist. Now he is Head of the Advisory Board of the international investment group Progresus Invest Holding, which focuses mainly on sustainable development, both in the residential and industrial sectors. This group owns the leading manufacturer of wooden buildings RD Rýmařov, a Central European leader in the production of wooden buildings with more than 50 years of history, and in the residential area, it focuses on the development of affordable housing.
