Marilena Vuiu

Marilena Vuiu, is a Senior Banker with the EBRD, with 18 years of experience working in finance and real estate. She is based in London, focusing on real estate. She was involved in real estate transactions in several countries, primarily from Central and South East Europe, Russia, and Turkey. She led debt, equity, quasi-equity and property funds transactions, as well as the bank’s first investment into a green property fund, into bonds issued by property companies, in student housing, and real estate investment trusts. She is also leading the EBRD’s initiative on cultural heritage-led development. Prior to joining EBRD she was an auditor for Arthur Andersen and Ernst&Young. She has a BSc and MSc in Banking/Capital Markets from the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest and a Master in Real Estate with Henley Business School in Reading, UK.
