Gábor Kovács is an electrical engineer, graduated from Budapest University of Technology in 1997, majoring in Power Systems. In 2001 he joined MVM/MAVIR, where he was the Deputy General Manager of TSO's transmission network activities from 2008 to 2021. He was responsible for the development, operation, and maintenance of the network. He oversaw the continuous and balanced operation of the network, maintaining the security of electricity supply in Hungary and the construction of more than 500 km of 400 kV transmission lines, including several interconnectors, and several high-voltage substations. Subsequently, between 2022 and 2023, he was involved in the construction of the 233.6 MW Mezőcsát solar power park as the project manager on the investment side of the connecting 220 kV substation. In the autumn of 2023, he joined the great team of Forest-Vill Ltd., where his tasks include defining the strategy and development directions of the Company.
