Zsolt Katona

Zsolt has more than 25 years of experience on the Hungarian capital markets, in recent years focusing on developing the venture capital ecosystem in the functions of Chairman at Hiventures and CEO at MFB Invest.

Prior to this, for several years he was the CEO of the top capital markets institution in Hungary, the Budapest Stock Exchange.

Zsolt gained his banking and investment banking expertise at ING Group in various positions over 17 years.

He has strong international business development and network capabilities, and he has recently been appointed as Senator representing Hungary at the World Business Angels Investor Forum.
