Katarzyna Szumilas

Katarzyna Szumilas joined Visa in August 2023, where she develops Visa products related to the global money movement. The solution she is particularly focused on is Visa Direct, which enables the transfer of funds between companies of all sizes, as well as business and government payouts to individuals, and gives many businesses a chance to grow and enter the global market. Katarzyna Szumilas has contributed to the dynamic growth of the service and will continue to pursue a strategy of increasing its application areas, expanding into new areas, and deepening cooperation with Visa partners. She has more than 20 years’ experience in the banking system. She holds a master's degree in English Study and Literature from the University of Warsaw, a postgraduate degree in Public Relations from the University of Finance and Management in Warsaw, and an MBA from the School of Business - National Louis University in Nowy Sącz.
