Since April 2021 Zoltan has been responsible for OTP’s Group level digital transformation, standardized IT operations, technology and architecture. He was the co-creator of the Digital Division Strategy based on OKR methodology. Currently, Zoltan is a Member of the Board of Directors at OTP Russia.
He had a mechanical engineer degree at the University of Subotica, held an economics degree at Corvinus University and then he earned his MBA there as well.
Before joining OTP, Zoltan held various managerial positions: he was CEO and member of the Board at T-Systems Hungary, the Nr 1 systems integrator company of the country, playing a key role in the digitalization of Hungary in the B2B segment and Agile transformation, 5G implementation, AI developments, SMART developments were key areas for the company. Earlier Zoltan fulfilled the role of Vice President of OTP Bank Serbia for IT and Logistic, facing tasks to set a new organization with new processes, IT and data migration (integration) process of 3 banks in line with group business and ICT strategy. As CIO of MOL Group, a leading international, integrated oil and gas company from Hungary, his key challenge was to change the Information System organization from the old operation mode to a highly professional and effective service provider organization. As IT Director of Budapest Airport, his main task was to create the company-wide IT services, including the IT strategy and IT operations with focused cost control. In his role as IT Strategy and Service Centre Director of Hungarian Post task was to create the centralized IT organization, to define the IT strategy and IT standards, to manage the IT investments, to coordinate companywide projects and software development.
