Joe Andrew served as the National Chairman of the Democratic Committee from the beginning of 1999 to 2001. He was nominated by President Bill Clinton, Vice President Al Gore, and the Democratic Caucuses in both the House and Senate and led the party through the disputed 2000 US Presidential election. Under his leadership the Democratic Committee raised more money and received more votes in a Presidential election than any Chairman up until that time. Currently, he is the Global Chairman of the world’s largest law firm, Dentons. A highly accomplished and highly regarded corporate lawyer, Andrew’s advice is regularly sought by both business and government leaders around the world. He has a unique insight into the crossroads between politics and business, as well as the importance of the United States presidential elections to the global economic sphere.
