Jean-Paul Herzog

After hotel school in Lucerne, Switzerland, Jean-Paul has spent most of his professional life with Hilton. In the 41 years with the company he has lived in 19 different locations including a spell in Budapest. He opened several Hilton hotels in the capacity of General Manager and later took on regional responsibilities culminating in the CEO position for the 130-hotel Scandic Hotels that belonged to Hilton for a time, and, on its sale, moved to Dubai as President MEA East for the Hilton brands again. After his retirement in 2011, Jean-Paul was on the boards of Dedeman Hotels Turkey and of Millennium&Copthorne Hotels Middle East. He undertakes various consultancy, teaching and coaching assignments, and is the general business consultant for a Swiss uniform company. Jean-Paul lives in his native Switzerland and attends key trade and industry conferences and exhibitions.
