István Máté-Tóth

Istvan Mate-Toth is Deputy CEO of the Budapest Stock Exchange, responsible for business development. Istvan has more than 20 years of capital markets experience. He spent over 18 years with Credit Suisse, first as an equity analyst, and later as Managing Director heading the Emerging Market Equity Research business and serving as Co-Head of European Equity Research. Istvan joined the BSE from the Financial Conduct Authority in the UK, where he worked at the UK Listing Authority managing teams and projects related to primary markets policy and regulation. He had also been a volunteer on the CFA UK’s Career Development Committee and helped to found he CFA UK Women’s Network. He speaks fluent English and German.
