István Látos

István Látos obtained his first diploma while being in the army, in aircraft operation engineering, but his first workplace was at MALÉV. He only spent a few years in the field of technology; his interest soon switched to humanities. He obtained his second degree in human resources management from the Budapest University of Economics. He has more than 25 years of experience in the field of HR; he had leading HR jobs in air traffic, at FMCG, at a bank, and then in the past 15 years he has been leading human resources organizations at various companies of the car industry (ALPINE, LEAR, DENSO). He also knows well the work culture of Japan, although he only speaks English. He has been working for DENSO for 8 years; in his current role he supervises the departments of HR, Operations and HSE as member of the upper management, and he is also the company’s compliance officer.
