István Bánfalvi graduated in economics from the Janus Pannonius University of Pécs. After his university studies, he worked for a multinational automotive company in Hungary in various accounting and controlling positions. Later on, he worked on an international project for the creation and implementation of a common integrated corporate management system based on SAP in different European sites of the group. Since 2006, he has been the Chief Financial Officer of BPW-Hungary, a German-based company, where he is responsible for the supervision of corporate IT systems, facility management and investment tasks, related projects, and the management of procurement organisations, in addition to financial and controlling areas.
