Ilona Szafer

  Ilona Szafer is responsible for asset management of the properties situated in southern Poland that are valued at €790 million and whose total area amounts to 648,000 sqm. The investments she manages include such retail and logistics facilities as i.a.: Galeria Katowicka, the Amazon Gliwice and H&M Bolesławiec distribution centres, Castorama logistics centre in Stryków and Leroy Merlin Distribution Center in Lodz. Ilona has been working at Savills IM since the very foundation of the company in Poland. Her tasks include close collaboration with both the local team as well as the company’s branches in London and Munich. Ilona has 18 years’ worth of experience in the real estate business. Before joining Savills IM, her roles included Asset Manager at Galeria Katowicka (owned by the British fund Meyer Bergman at the time), Leasing Director of Wrocław Fashion Outlet, and Leasing Director of Silesia City Center. Ilona has graduated from the Management and Foreign Languages College in Katowice. She is also a licensed property manager. She has developed her professional skills at prestigious leasing training courses completed in Belgium and the US.
