Ilian Grigorov is a serial entrepreneur and executive with more than 12 years experience in healthcare and 15 years in private equity and M&A advisory. Currently he is a Co-CEO of Blocks group, a leading rehabilitation operator in southeast Europe, which he founded in 2019 In 2010, Ilian has founded City Clinic, which in 7 years became the leading private healthcare operator in Bulgaria and among the top 5 operators in Eastern Europe. Prior to that has led Bedminster Capital (formerly Soros Investment Capital) office in Bulgaria for 8 years. He has experience in investing in various industries including cable, media, and healthcare. Ilian has a Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration (MHA) from the University of Minnesota, Master in International Finance from University of Amsterdam and Master in Economics and Finance from University of National and World Economy in Sofia. He has completed post-graduate education and trainings in some of the most reputable academic and healthcare institutions in the world including Massachusetts General Hospital, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Cleveland Clinic, MD Anderson Cancer Center, Kaiser Permanente, Institute for Healthcare Improvement, UC Berkeley and INSEAD.
