Hugo Fonseca

Mechanical Engineering degree at the Instituto Superior Técnico, Hugo Fonseca, was honoured in 1999 and in 2000 with the Award of Excellence from the Technical University of Lisbon for his academic performance. He was also the major in the 2000 class. Holds an MBA from INSEAD in France and Singapore. Hugo Fonseca began working at McKinsey & Company in 2000 in Lisbon as a consultant, followed by a mission in Sonae Indústria (second global company manufacturing wood panels) in France between 2003 and 2005, as a Deputy to the Industry Director. He joined Sonae Sierra in 2006 in the Department of Marketing followed by the Market Intelligence Department, as Manager for Market Intelligence and Scouting. Currently, he has the role of Business Development and Client Care Manager for Africa and Eastern Europe.
