György Istvánffy

György Isvánffy has been working at HUPX Ltd. since 2012, recently holding the position of Director of HUPX markets. His responsibilities cover the continuous development of all market segments, introduction of new products and services, as well as he is responsible for the reliable and smooth operation of HUPX markets. He was in charge of launching the HUDEX derivative energy market in 2018, and from the middle of 2023 he took over also the CEO position of HUDEX Hungarian Derivative Energy Exchange Ltd. György holds a degree in economics and started his carrier in the energy sector at the energy and utilities division of KPMG. During his 5 years as a consultant, he worked on several projects and contributed to market studies, project evaluation, remodelling business procedures and regulatory projects as well.
