Balázs Greinstetter

He graduated from the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences at the Eötvös Loránd University in 2010, and studied Economics at the Corvinus University of Budapest between 2007 and 2010. He has been an expert for the Budget Committee of the National Assembly and the Economic Cabinet of Fidesz - Hungarian Civic Federation since 2008. He was a member of the Prime Minister's Office's Analysis Group from 2010 and then Head of Department, while also taking an active part in the work of the Advisory Board on Housing. Between 2013 and 2014, as Deputy State Secretary of the Ministry of National Economy, his main task was to oversee the planning of the economic development operational programmes (EDIOP, TSDOP and CCHOP) for the 2014-2020 EU budget cycle. From then until today, as Deputy State Secretary in charge of the implementation of economic development programmes, he led the work of the Managing Authority responsible for the implementation of EDIOP, then EDIOP Plus, first under the Ministry of Finance, then the Prime Minister's Office, and from 2024 under the Ministry of Public Administration and Regional Development.
