Elemér Gidófalvy

Graduated from Trinity College, University of Cambridge in Natural Sciences, Physics and Theoretical Physics in 1993. Started his career in the UK, at Rank Xerox European HQ, associate at leading regional investment bank MeesPierson Euramerica 1995-1997; Vice President at Credit Suisse First Boston, Budapest 1997-2001 with regional responsibilities; Partner at leading Hungarian Corporate Finance boutique Invescom Corporate Finance 2001-2006. Joins CAIB Corporate Finance (later Unicredit CAIB) in 2006, appointed CEO in 2007. From 2011 Elemér heads the Specialised Financing & Advisory segment of UniCredit Hungary which includes Commercial and Residential Real Estate Finance; Structured and Project Finance; Factoring and Investment Banking advisory: ECM, DCM, M&A. Member of the Presidium of the Hungarian Joint Venture Association, the issuance committee of the Budapest Stock Exchange; trustee of Centum Public benefit Foundation.
